Lauritzen Fleet Management provides high-quality ship management services
for a fleet of JL owned/controlled vessels, including high-tech LPG
carriers, product/chemical tankers and reefer vessels. Additionally,
we are expanding our operations to include ship management for external
ship owners. In all areas, our constant focus is on environmental
protection and safe, secure and economical performance.
Our wide range of ship management and support services covers everything
from technical and nautical operation, maintenance and purchasing to crew
operations, training and education. We set up comprehensive procedures and
guidelines for almost every conceivable situation, starting with
newbuildings and extending through the lifetime of a vessel. All of
LFM's competent and dedicated employees - both at sea and ashore -
endeavour to make a positive difference for our customers by helping them
reach their strategic goals.
We are determined to meet the stringent demands of the shipping industry
with regard to maritime security and safety of seafarers, cargo and
vessels, as well as to protect the environment and provide our customers
with service of uniform high quality. To do so, we regulate our activities
in accordance with a quality management system based on the provisions of
the International Management (ISM) Code for safe operation of ships and for
pollution prevention.
In conjunction with our customers, we have established Key Performance
Indicators (KPIs) to enable us to measure, document, report and benchmark
the results of our efforts. KPIs include performance measurements of
safety, environmental performance, quality, cost, security and crew and
office personnel.
